Moving Forward

The decision to close our cafe at Madison and the Advanced Learning Library in March due to COVID-19 was difficult. It was a choice made with the safety of our staff, our partners, our vendors, and our community in mind. Over the past several weeks many of us have been confronted with things I am sure we could have never imagined. When I think of how these changes have affected Reverie, our team, and our community, I have been reflecting on the importance of our intentions and how doing what’s right no matter how hard it will be is crucial.

This entire experience has proven that if you focus on those that mean the most, they will take care of you, too. That being said, this transition would not have been possible without the care and support of the people that mean the world to me: my staff… my dream team.

I can only imagine how difficult it has been for them to navigate this transition, and moving forward I know that the next steps will be difficult ones. I just hope they know how much they truly matter to me and how hard we’ve been working behind the scenes to keep Reverie moving forward. That way, when we are able to return to work, and our customers can return our cafes for their favorite drinks, pastries, and sandwiches, we will be ready for what’s to come.

In the meantime, we’re still doing all we can to bring a little bit of the atmosphere from our cafes to your home. We are offering delivery on all of our current roasts like Boneshaker Espresso and the new Costa Rica Las Lajas from our wholesale production facility. Plus we have a small, dedicated team filling orders for curbside pick-up featuring our Penny Cold Brew, our new iced latte to-go, and of course, your favorite roasts.

The next few weeks will be telling of when things will feel somewhat normal, but in the meantime, we have a lot of exciting things happening in the background that we can’t wait to share with you once we are able to reopen. As an addition to our current team, we have organized a creative team of people with unique skills to keep Reverie moving forward in exciting and innovative ways. Be sure to follow our progress over the next few weeks to see who is doing what and what exciting things we will unveil.

Please continue to shop locally and support local businesses like ours. We may not be serving drinks today, but we are going to still be working for you to create the best coffee in Wichita. If you are not yet a customer at work, please email to learn how you can get started: info@reverieroasters.com or www.reverieroasters.com

Thank you for your continued support. We are amazed by the love we have received in the last few weeks. Let’s keep moving forward

Best to you all
Andrew Gough
