FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Reverie Coffee Roasters Launches “25,000 Cookies” Holiday Campaign to Support Hope 4 Da Hood
Wichita, KS — December 9, 2025

Reverie Coffee Roasters is launching an ambitious holiday fundraising campaign to bake and sell up to 25,000 cookies in support of the Wichita-based nonprofit Hope 4 Da Hood, an organization dedicated to helping individuals break cycles of gang involvement, addiction, and incarceration.

The campaign is inspired by the powerful story of Peazy, a baker at Reverie, who went from gang involvement, homelessness, addiction, and incarceration to sobriety, stable housing, earning his culinary arts degree from WSU Tech NICHE, and now serving as a mentor through Hope 4 Da Hood. The organization played a pivotal role in helping change the trajectory of his life.

The goal of the campaign is to raise $50,000 by December 31, 2025, which will qualify for a 2-for-1 matching grant from the Stand Together Foundation, dramatically increasing the organization’s impact heading into 2026. Reverie is donating two-thirds of all funds raised directly to Hope 4 Da Hood, with $2 from every cookie sold going straight to the nonprofit.

Cookies will be sold by the dozen at $36 per dozen and feature Reverie’s signature Rye Chocolate Chip Cookie — a 4.5-inch, scratch-made cookie packaged with ribbon for holiday gifting. Orders may be placed through a special campaign website with scheduled pickups beginning around December 12, 2025. Bulk and corporate orders are available by contacting Reverie directly.

“This is about far more than cookies,” said Reverie founder Andrew Gough. “It’s about showing what’s possible when people are met with support, accountability, and community instead of judgment. Peazy’s story is proof that redemption and transformation are real — and Hope 4 Da Hood is making that happen every day in Wichita.”

Fidelity Bank has issued a corporate challenge to other community leaders offering to purchase 400 dozen (4,800) cookies to distribute to local non-profits if Reverie is successful in securing a match of 400 dozen cookies.

The campaign also aims to raise public awareness around the systemic challenges of gang violence, addiction, and reentry, while generating significant new funding to expand Hope 4 Da Hood’s life-changing outreach in the coming year.

For ordering information, bulk purchases, or campaign details, visit the campaign ordering site or contact Reverie Coffee Roasters directly.
