This natural processed coffee comes from the Rwenzori region in Uganda. Rwenzori Silverback is a collection of coffees from small-holder producers in the region.

The cherries are selectively picked and brought to the processing station on the same day. It is then separated by flotation and put onto drying tables. The coffee is then dried for 21 to 35 days. Once it is ready, the dried cherries are then brought to Kampala for milling and export processing.

Uganda Rwenzori is made up of three sought-after varietals, SL34, K7, and Blue Mountain. When people hear Blue Mountain, they immediately think of Jamaican Blue Mountain. This coffee is not from Jamaica, but the varietal is the same. This is your chance to taste Blue Mountain without paying $65 per pound.
