Reverie Donation Requests & Gifts

We need to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those who support and surround us. It's an impossible task to take on everything and be successful. So, we focus our giving efforts to causes to maximize our limited resources. As one can imagine, Reverie gets asked to support many great organizations each week. However, we only have so many resources we can budget each year. This is why we have a process to determine which opportunities are a great fit for our stakeholders.

Service for Change

Beginning April 2024, Reverie has partnered with other area businesses to create Service for Change, a service industry initiative to consolidate our limited resources to make tangible change we can all see. This year’s Service for Change, from April 2024 through March 2025, will are supporting Habitat For Humanity to purchase materials to build one home. Collectively, we are participating to raise $100,000 with 16 other industry peers. Read more about this initiative here. 

Our goal is to raise $10,000 for Habitat for Humanity. Throughout the course of the year, there will be several ways to support this effort. We will offer coffee, food, and drinks with portions of the proceeds going directly to the charity. We’ll host special events and contests, exclusive offerings, and more. And we will collect donations from customers, who always step up to the plate to help us out whenever they are called. If you wish to make a donation, simply visit our Wichita cafe and ask the barista. You can make a donation at the same time you make a purchase.

 

Each year, we will partner with Service for Change to make a difference in our community. We still believe in supporting our community partners and will do so with whatever capacity we can. We continue to concentrate our efforts to causes that work to improve childhood literacy in Wichita and the surrounding region. And because we are in coffee, we also choose to support particular causes committed to improving the coffee value chain. We are not able to give to everyone who asks, but we will always do our best and communicate with you to let you know if we can.

 

Please keep in mind, we prioritize requests for causes that fit within our own focused efforts stated above. 

 

Our two requirements for considering donation requests:

  • We kindly request 60 days notice for reviewing your request.
  • Our giving form must be completed in full to be eligible.

 

Responses will be returned as soon as possible. We receive dozens of requests each month and can only fulfill a few.

Reverie in Our Community

Working at Reverie is more than just making coffee and serving the best customers in the world. We believe in supporting our teammates in their journey to help the community that surrounds them outside of work whenever possible. We have instituted our own internal giving program for employees to make a difference in the community through encouraged volunteerism and donations to support organizations they may be close to. We’re focused on changing our communities one interaction at at time. The more we work together, the more we can accomplish together.

Food Donations = Less Hunger, Zero Waste

Reverie is proud to partner with ICT Food Rescue to relocate delicious unsold pastries safely to deserving partners across the community. Nearly every day a member of the ICT Food Rescue community is deployed to move food from our location to people in need to feed hungry people and to reduce food waste. Food insecurity is not a new problem, but the conversations around it are becoming more known. It is the work of groups, such as ICT Food Rescue, that helps to put a direct connection between businesses and our communities in need.
